Hi there, I'm using Compiz on Ubuntu 12.04 and I too cannot see any preview of minimized windows, only of active ones, which is of course rather useless. I also tried to check the option "Keep previews of minimized windows" in Compiz>Workarounds, but to no avail. I still don't see previews of minimized windows.
