Well, I've had to (re) install Linux on this laptop several times over the last week (had problems with restoring from backups). Every time, I've tried installing Eric from the repos... and once out of I think five tries it came up in English (like it should, given my locale/environment). The rest of the time it comes up looking like this: http://s12.photobucket.com/albums/a210/milanuk/computer_stuff/?action=view¤t=Screenshotfrom2012-05-12125551.png If there is something I need to explicitly set some where to get this to work right, please enlighten me.
