Public bug reported: Since the fix for bug 997766 was uploaded, I have no status area anymore when more than 1 shell is open. Looking at the values in byobu-status, I have a shell width of 191, but with 3 shells open I get:
w = 191\n191\n191 w_last = 191 (which only works because 'read' only reads until \n) I don't quite understand though why that causes the right bar to disappear completely. Settings are still status-left-length 47 status-right-length 143 ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.10 Package: byobu 5.18-0ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.2.0-24.38-generic 3.2.16 Uname: Linux 3.2.0-24-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.0.1-0ubuntu7 Architecture: amd64 Date: Sun May 13 17:52:30 2012 InstallationMedia: Kubuntu 11.10 "Oneiric Ocelot" - Beta amd64 (20111007) PackageArchitecture: all ProcEnviron: SHELL=/bin/bash TERM=screen PATH=(custom, user) LANG=en_US.UTF-8 LANGUAGE=en_US.UTF-8 ScreenRC: SourcePackage: byobu UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: byobu (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug quantal -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/998812 Title: status area missing since 5.18 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/byobu/+bug/998812/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
