Human response here (well at least I'm currently defined as human)... Your bug report seems to be describing multiple problems - a bug report only should report on ONE problem. If you are encountering many issues, you make many bug reports! For your maximize and close buttons, try brining your cursor to the upper-left side of the screen. A maximized window on the unity desktop hides the extra buttons unless your mouse is at the upper-left side of the screen.
