Public bug reported:
Two weeks ago I did a fresh install of 12.04. When booting 12.04, both
Plymouth and Grub appear off-centered.
On the left side about an inch falls of the screen and on the right side
I have a black band of approximately an inch, where the purple
background ends. I would expect grub and Plymouth to be centered, so the
Grub options are completely readable and Ubuntu's loading screen te be
appearing exactly in the center.
I have a 1920x1080 resolution 23,5 inch Acer flatscreen and a Radeon
HD6850 graphics card.
