For nearly two weeks, this bug isn't reviewed by any moderators. I think
neither will this be fixed soon by Ubuntu people, nor will anybody
submit a patch. For Chinese users, I highly recommend Lunar Applet 1.5
as a replacement. It provides a clock of 12-hour type, a lunar calender
and a similar look to Gnome panel clock. However, it lacks Evolution
support.

In order to install Lunar Applet 1.5, you have to add an extra source
(via System -> Administration -> Software Sources):

deb http://ubuntu.cn99.com/ubuntu-cn/ feisty main restricted universe
multiverse

After that, use Synaptic to search and install "lunar-applet", then add
it to the panel (and remove the Gnome panel clock). Remember to disable
the source above after installation, because there are several unsigned
packages which you probably don't want.
