Public bug reported:
Gwenview from 12.04
# gwenview -v
Qt: 4.8.1
KDE: 4.8.2 (4.8.2)
Gwenview: 2.8.2
has serious memory leak in 'presentation mode'. With every loaded picture (file
size 2 - 10MB), gwenview will eat more and more memory, propably the same size
as loaded picture. In normal mode (not presentation) memory leak doesn't
appear. To reproduce:
1) Run gwenview, display big pictures (> 2MB)
2) turn on presentation mode, click 'play' button
3) display multiple pictures (you can use keyboard left/right arrows)
You can run 'top' to see that with every loaded picture, gwenview will
eat more and more memory. Or free to see that cached memory size is
lower and lower and then swap space will be in use.
** Affects: gwenview (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
