yes it is. and all types of (gnome) windows are concerned.

i switched over to close windows using strg+w or alt+f4 or to hold down
the mousebutton over the X for quite a while before releasing it.

if not doing so, it could happen that the next windows behind the
foregrounded one gets closed instead.

i think this problem is related to windows in the foreground being
unclickable (the title bar get transparent and i have to use alt+tab two
times to get it back clickable).
