terzag: Here is what I did: While fiddling with my Canon, I
uninstalled my Hp via the printing GUI and physically unplugged it from
my PC. I then rebooted and in a terminal typed: sudo /etc/init.d/cupsys
restart. Then, I plugged the Hp back in to the pc and rebooted again.
Then, I went to system - admin-printing GUI and reinstalled the Hp. My
intent was not to fix my HP problem - like I said I was working with my
other printer. But, this is the only thing I did that I can think of
that may have fixed my HP problem. Hope it helps you.
