Please calm down. The iso works fine for me and millions of other users, so I see three possibilities:
1) The usb stick is damaged 2) The usb stick is corrupt, either due to the way it was written or a bad download 3) This particular computer has a something different about it that causes the problem If you can successfully perform the check in another computer, that would point to #3, if not, it points to #1 or #2. You mentioned that you ran a chkdsk with windows, did you enable the scan for bad sectors option, or just a standard chkdsk? Can you verify the md5um of the iso? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/998292 Title: Unable to install Ubuntu 12 Server To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/998292/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
