I'm not able to test this with 3.4-rc7 as there is only a header .deb in
there. I did try to test with -rc6 using the instructions you provided.
If I use the 'nouveau' driver, my laptop crashes on resume with strange
vertical red lines on the display. With the NVIDIA proprietary driver
(using workaround in 993506) my laptop doesn't boot at all.
