** Description changed: Wifi card used on an Acer Aspire 3810TZ running a clean install of Ubuntu 12.04 64bit. Connection is to a Dreytek Vigor AP700v1, an 802.11n access point. Network occasionally disconnects, and sometimes refuses to connect agian for a short time. When I opened the laptop this afternoon(was already on from previous day) I had a wifi connection but also about 30 dialogs asking for the network key. Seen several similar bugs, but im not sure if this is a duplicate. Any more information I can provide? + --- + AlsaVersion: Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 1.0.24. + ApportVersion: 2.0.1-0ubuntu7 + Architecture: amd64 + ArecordDevices: + **** List of CAPTURE Hardware Devices **** + card 0: Intel [HDA Intel], device 0: ALC269 Analog [ALC269 Analog] + Subdevices: 1/1 + Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 + AudioDevicesInUse: + USER PID ACCESS COMMAND + /dev/snd/controlC0: oliver 1818 F.... pulseaudio + Card0.Amixer.info: + Card hw:0 'Intel'/'HDA Intel at 0xe4500000 irq 45' + Mixer name : 'Intel Cantiga HDMI' + Components : 'HDA:10ec0269,10250229,00100004 HDA:80862802,80860101,00100000' + Controls : 28 + Simple ctrls : 12 + DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 + EcryptfsInUse: Yes + HibernationDevice: RESUME=UUID=129dc09a-ab24-46e1-b35a-2c1ef4d3c651 + InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS "Precise Pangolin" - Release amd64 (20120425) + MachineType: Acer Aspire 3810TZ + Package: linux (not installed) + ProcEnviron: + LANGUAGE=en_GB:en + TERM=xterm + PATH=(custom, no user) + LANG=en_GB.UTF-8 + SHELL=/bin/bash + ProcFB: 0 inteldrmfb + ProcKernelCmdLine: BOOT_IMAGE=/boot/vmlinuz-3.2.0-24-generic root=UUID=76aa2745-38ee-4942-877f-6a4999ad2a0a ro quiet splash vt.handoff=7 + ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.2.0-24.37-generic 3.2.14 + RelatedPackageVersions: + linux-restricted-modules-3.2.0-24-generic N/A + linux-backports-modules-3.2.0-24-generic N/A + linux-firmware 1.79 + SourcePackage: linux + Tags: precise precise + Uname: Linux 3.2.0-24-generic x86_64 + UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) + UserGroups: adm cdrom dip lpadmin plugdev sambashare sudo + dmi.bios.date: 10/21/2009 + dmi.bios.vendor: Acer + dmi.bios.version: V1.17 + dmi.board.asset.tag: Base Board Asset Tag + dmi.board.name: Aspire 3810TZ + dmi.board.vendor: Acer + dmi.board.version: PSMBOU-1234567 + dmi.chassis.type: 10 + dmi.chassis.vendor: Acer + dmi.chassis.version: PLUS + dmi.modalias: dmi:bvnAcer:bvrV1.17:bd10/21/2009:svnAcer:pnAspire3810TZ:pvrV1.17:rvnAcer:rnAspire3810TZ:rvrPSMBOU-1234567:cvnAcer:ct10:cvrPLUS: + dmi.product.name: Aspire 3810TZ + dmi.product.version: V1.17 + dmi.sys.vendor: Acer ** Attachment added: "AcpiTables.txt" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/999300/+attachment/3151113/+files/AcpiTables.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/999300 Title: 'Intel Corporation Centrino Wireless-N 1000' iwlwifi intermittent disconnects To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/999300/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
