Hi Ernst,
sorry to hear that. Unfortunately downgrading to an older release is not
supported and I don't think there is an easy way to do it. You could
reinstall the old release however, but obviously this means some work :(
For the bugs: please open two distinct tickets to keep things focused.
Also attach an example of an effected file to the Writer bug.
