I got this error while upgrading from oneiric to precise on my 64-bit principal desktop machine. As a result, I can't run eclipse... I don't know how to work around this, but I *need* eclipse in order to do work.
I have /usr/share linked to /home/share. I don't understand why this makes any difference, but it seems from the reporter's comment tghat it does. I have /usr/share mapped in this manner because otherwise there would have been insufficient room on the /usr partition for the upgrade. I had to move /usr/share expressly to allow the oneiric->precise upgrade to run. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/990097 Title: package libswt-gtk-3-java 3.7.2-2 failed to install/upgrade: ErrorMessage: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 2 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/swt-gtk/+bug/990097/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
