I am on Ubuntu12.10 Quantal 64bit with kdenlive0.9-1.
The configuration assistant on first start is showing at the system
check step that "xine" is nedded for "Required to preview your DVD".
When there is no cause against, xine should be added to the kdenlive
package dependences and automatically installed together with kdenlive.
