** Description changed: - Upgraded to Ubuntu 12.04 64-bit Release today, a clean install on a new - partition. Graphics card is ATI Radeon HD 3670 system is Dell Studio - XPS 16. Anyway, it worked initially until after the kernel received - it's second update automatically. OS would not start with monitor (HP - 2310m) plugged into HDMI. If plugging in after the fact, OS would crash - (could make it as far as logging in.) Tried open source and fglrx - no - success. Reinstalled 12.04. Still same problem. Now reverting back to - 11.10. + Upgraded to Ubuntu 12.04 64-bit Release today, a clean install on a new partition. Graphics card is ATI Radeon HD 3670 system is Dell Studio XPS 16.
