I'm having a similar problem, and I'm quite sure it's related to evince (or one of the filters used by evince?). I've just upgraded to 12.04.
My printer is an Epson Style NX215, which works superbly in Linux I might add -- so I did not need any custom drivers installed/compiled from third party web sites as with previous printers. After the upgrade, I removed it and added it again. Print page works fine, I can print from Firefox, I can print a PDF from the command line using lpr. Evince won't let me print just the first page of my pdf. If I print the entire thing, it works. I'm attaching the print errors given through after following the diagnosis wizard thing. ** Attachment added: "Print errors after diagnosis" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups/+bug/995074/+attachment/3154101/+files/print_errors.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/995074 Title: Can't print from Evince/"Document Viewer" HP 4215 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups/+bug/995074/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
