Also Im still not too familiar with the teminolgy used in programming like "upstream kernel" so Im not sure how I would check if the bug is fixed in the upstream kernel, or mainline kernel etc... Ive been testing Ubuntu 12-04 from a live usb, thast all I really know. Sorry I cant help further with "tagging" etc..
