Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: metacity

I'm currently running with a dual-monitor setup, with one monitor above
the other. Gnome has decided that the monitor at the top is the one to
get the panels etc. If I have a window on the top display and tell it to
maximise, the top of the window correctly ends up just below the panel
at the top, however the bottom of the window goes below the bottom panel
(presumably to the bottom of that screen). This isn't the behaviour I
see when using dual side-by-side or a single monitor.

If it's relevant, I'm using nVidia's twinview thing.

** Affects: metacity (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
