Binary package hint: nvidia-glx-new
If I plug my laptop (screen res 1280x800) to an external monitor (res
1280x1024), enable twinview (whereupon all the resolutions are correct),
then log out and log back in, the res on the laptop screen is reset to
1024x768. I can then go into nvidia-settings, reconfigure it to what it
should be, hit apply, it'll be correctly set. If I then log out and log
back in again (which I have to do due to getting a black bar on the
right of the right (external) screen), it remains correctly set.
