Yeah, same thing. It's weird because the slider slides like it is recognizing the change in brightness, but it isn't actually making the screen brighter or less bright. Haven't tried it when connected to AC, but definitely a problem on battery (when I most want to crank up the brightness so I can see my screen in the sun.)
