This Bug looks to be the same as I got last week, it was marked as a duplicate.
My solution/ workaround - not fix was apt-get remove samba4 , then apt-get
install samba.
This allowed the use of all my earlier settings as I had them.
I am no expert on this, but I thought this may get you going. : )
