This is while running on A/C, as an FYI it is a desktop machine without a battery. I could not find the apps->gnome-power- manager->user_profile_time key. As a temporary fix I do a ps aux | grep power, and then subsequently kill the gnome-power-manager process. That keeps it from suspending.
