yes, snd module is loaded and also so is the oss backend, but i cannot
hear any sound on an upgraded Feisty... so for now i'm using esd to connect to
a sound
server on another machine. I've read somewhere that maybe the 2.6.21
can be better, but i've yet to try it out.
