If apport now does everything in the background, how do you know which
bug you're reporting?  If you want so subscribe, mark it as affecting
you or add comments manually, there's no way to do this because a
browser window doesn't come up.  Also, you can avoid reporting if you
know it's a duplicate.

Is all of this functionality gone, or is there some way to bring the
pre-Precise behaviour back (for power users at least)?

At the very least, users should be able to subscribe to bugs that are
affecting them so that they may monitor the situation.
