Public bug reported:

My Ubuntu 12.04 automatically updated itself today, and after that, no matter

If I install software using the "apt-get" command under command line, I can
press "y" or "N" to make the installation continue. However, if I install
software using the Ubuntu software center, I cannot press "y" or "N" anymore
and the installation will pause forever.
