Can you please check the contents of your /var/crash folder, and post
the relevant contents of that folder? Please post them as an
attachment, and not text pasted into the text box.
For what it's worth, you have compiled your own kernel and are running
beryl (which is still beta software). Either of these might introduce
problems that wouldn't otherwise be in a standard Xubuntu installation.
I might also recommend booting into a standard kernel to see if the
problems persist.
