I'm not convinced this has actually been fixed... I downloaded the source for rhythmbox, applied the patch described in the ticket on their bug, and then recompiled and installed the resultant .deb. The issue wasn't fixed for me. I'll see if I can install a later version altogether as recommended, as this may indeed fix the problem.
