Public bug reported:

I first ran across an issue when ssh'd into a machine running precise.
When running a command like "cal" for example, the current date is not
highlighted correctly.

It is as follows:

cal

When I'm running xterm on Ubuntu, it works correctly.  When using xterm
or vt100 on a RHEL machine, it works.
