Ok I looked it up. if that is the case it not working with all the 3. kernels. 11.10, 12.04 and parted magic, might even be ubcd as well. haven't tried it., new version of gparted .
For some reason the intel graphics from 2010 that came with 1st generation I3, I5, and I7 processors seem to be effected. I do not know if new generation's are effected or it's just my gateway nv7922u laptop. My laptop has a I5 M430, 4 gigs of memory, intel HD graphics version 12. I can not use parted magic 5.0 and up, blank screen, gparted 0.5.1-1 works, 0.6.4-1 blank screen. I haven't updated gparted iso very often. the 0.5.1-1 worked just fine, but I did down load the 0.6.4-1 to work in virtual box. I can't let you know, if 10.10 worked or 11.04 I never downloaded the ISO. I decided with 8.04 to just stay with the LTS version. To get the ISO to work I have to press the F4 key constantly to get the main menu, then F6 and NOAPIC, see my post on UBUNTU under DWADE I just had a problem were with windows 7 virtual in 12.04 that it locked 12.04 up. I had downloaded something, I am still searching., but it destroyed my linux swap file, and corrupted the MBR. Had to get my 500 gig orginal hard drive put in laptop I have a 640 gig installed (Oh! another problem Linux or it's Ubuntu will not recognize above a 400 gig secondary partition, had to change it 400, in stead of 500 same with a usb 750 I have) gparted said no partition, used partition commander and gave it a new MBR and found swap file gone. Repair the disk change UUID's of both 11.10 and 12.04 to new swap file.
