In my case ubi failed with code 2 selected "try again" button, no change, then "continue" just to see if the dire warnings would mean anything.
The install boot was from USB flash memory "startup disk" created by precise, and the install target a USB hard drive so hopefully the main hard drive would not be damaged. Install completed satisfactorily, and on rebooting the correct time - timezone 5 - is used. This was on a Acer Aspire 1 netbook. Same USB flash memory used to install on hard drive of Compaq Presario tower, no errors. Anyone have any idea what the "code 2" could mean?
