I can not reproduce either. (initramfs) cat /proc/cmdline console=ttyAMA0 root=LABEL=rootfs nosplash (initramfs) cat /proc/version Linux version 3.2.0-1800-highbank (root@tangerine) (gcc version 4.6.3 (Ubuntu/Linaro 4.6.3-1ubuntu5) ) #5 SMP PREEMPT Wed May 16 00:22:18 UTC 2012
Looks at the backtrace, kernel panic when task fork. Sounds something wrong on mmu or cache. Anyway, we need to reproduce it before finding the root cause. I will keep this bug on my radar. ** Tags added: ike-radar -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1005501 Title: highbank kernel panic on /proc/cmdline access To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/eilt/+bug/1005501/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
