I went to the Ubuntu forum and am getting suggestions. I also had 1 suggestion here when I came here when I first got started. Then I deleted my account from here and now I am back. The CD now doesn't even go to the installation type screen see immage http://www.ubuntu.com/sites/www.ubuntu.com/files/active/02_ubuntu /desktop-install-3.png to give me a choice of instillation and does not tell me whether or not it sees an operating system and on the page where it should list all the stuff on my computer http://members.iinet.net.au/%7Eherman546/p23/029.png the list is empty.
