hello guys. I have ubuntu 12.04 64bit and chrome. I had the same problem
a while back. th solution is to enable direct rendering on the card you
use. For instance i have an Intel HD and a radeon 6470 HD but only my
radeon had direc rendering enabled. When i switched to intel my computer
automatically log out every time i opened chrome. As soon as i enabled
direct rendering on my intel card random log offs stopped. I hop i
helped a little bit.
