I bought Limbo through the Humble Indie Bundle 5 and installed through
Ubuntu Software Center on freshly installed Ubuntu 12.04. The game
starts up and responds to controls fine, except that there is no sound.
I have two sound cards -- one USB and another internal. However, the
external one is selected in Pulse audio (the Sound Settings... menu
available by clicking on the volume icon in the upper right) and sound
works for everything else.
