I have a M510 mouse and K800 wireless keyboard. If the problem appears, it affects both, the keyboard and the mouse. My impression is that if I switch on the devices only after I'm seeing the login screen, that the problem doesn't appear. I didn't have an issue that the mouse/keyboard stopped working after a couple of hours.
