This message appeared when i tried to update packages from update manager
The following message appeared in this program in this latest release " Ubuntu
12.04"
Error message
E: Encounted a section with no Package header, E: Problem with
MergList/var/lib/apt/lists/
archive,ubuntu.com_dists_precise_multiverse_binary-amd64_Packages, E:The
package lists or status files could not be parsed or opened
end of messaged
The only way out was to press CLOSE when i did the whole update manager closed
off
I do hope i have reported this correctly
