Also stuck with the same error and did a bit of digging. Seems that the
re should be more links.
Found that this workaround that does the job and MDB viewer does open
without to much errors afterwards.

sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libglade/2.0/libbonobo.so
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libglade/2.0/libbonobo.so
sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libglade/2.0/libcanvas.so
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libglade/2.0/libcanvas.so
