as a workaround i set the shortcut to simply "firefox" and not the exo-open link... Even after reseting the directories mentioned in post #3, hitting Super+W (the default shortcut to Firefox) the session crashes the same. So, may be is something that got misconfigured after the downgrade.
I understand the danger of downgrading, but it appeared in many posts (some of those blogs, really popular) about doing this upgrade to XFCE 4.10 and at the end they wrote "if you want to go back" install ppa- purge and hit this 2 commands in terminal, that simple. If this is not that simple, i mean, if after doing this one gets an unstable behavior, that should be pointed out clearly. I wonder what else may resulted misconfigured. Is any good to try some apt-get install xubuntu-desktop --reinstall or reconfigure somehow?
