Public bug reported:
When running /usr/bin/service from cron, PATH is set to the default
value ("getconf PATH"), which doesn't include /sbin.
sample output:
/usr/bin/service: 123: exec: status: not found
The script should add /sbin to $PATH explicitly, e.g.
PATH="/sbin:$PATH"
