I'm running 12.04 (32bit) w/ kernel 3.2.0-24-generic-pae on a Dell E6510
with NVIDIA Corporation GT218 [NVS 3100M] (rev a2) and I'm hitting this
bug.  I've blacklisted the intel_ips module (as per comment #15) and the
laptop is now booting properly.  Before putting this in it seemed to be
a crap-shoot as to when the system would come up...
