Confirmed on both 295.40 (nvidia-current) and 295.49 (nvidia-current-
updates) in Precise. Graphics card 8600GT on a 64-bit AMD processor.
After running Minecraft under Unity-2D for half a minute, X suddenly
becomes very unresponsive and consumes 100% CPU. Simultanously the
following is output to Xorg.0.log (monitored by tail -f):

[ 990.330] [mi] EQ overflowing. Additional events will be discarded until
existing events are processed.

[ 990.453] [mi] These backtraces from mieqEnqueue may point to a culprit
higher up the stack.
[ 990.453] [mi] mieq is *NOT* the cause. It is a victim.
[ 990.738] [mi] EQ overflow continuing. 100 events have been dropped.
...

It was running fine in Lucid. Is there a way to easily try the latest
NVidia drivers (currently 295.53 or 302.11b) by a .deb or PPA?
