* There is no CVE history and nothing I can see to recommend a full audit. 
* The package builds fine with only main packages.
* It has a testsuite and it is enabled in the build
* Ubuntu does not carry a delta
* It has a watch file
* The update history has been slow and focused around packaging fixes over the 
last couple years
* The most recent official version is packaged and in Ubuntu (though there 
apparently is an unofficial version with some bug fixes)
* The package is lintian clean for source (1 override) and binaries
* debian/rules is fine
* There is one important bug which is to move to the new non-official version 
of the package
