I've experienced this same bug on more than 3 different machines running
Xubuntu 12.04. It seems to occur even when the resize handle area is not
clicked during focus switches. Probably the same bug as I've posted:

Makes using GTK3 application very frusterating and annoying. I hope it
is fixed soon.
