Public bug reported:
As i found out, you can't drag desktop entries (files ending with
.desktop) from a directory containing umlauts to the unity launcher. The
entry is not displayed - but is still there, as seen in the myunity
configuration editor. In my case it was the localized name
"Arbeitsfläche" for my desktop directory. Copying the file to my home
directory and dragging it from there fixed the problem.
By the way, where are the entries located? myunity crashes when
selecting a non-native entry from the quicklist, so I couldn't remove
this invisible entry, yet.
