For something as trivial as a popularity contest package it is
definitely annoying that close to a hundred ec2 servers mail me every
morning to inform me that

Cron <root@melida> test -x /usr/sbin/anacron || ( cd / && run-parts
--report /etc/cron.daily )

/etc/cron.daily/popularity-contest:
/etc/cron.daily/popularity-contest: 18: .: Can't open
/etc/popularity-contest.conf
run-parts: /etc/cron.daily/popularity-contest exited with return code 2
