Dear all, Here are 2 little tools that would solve this bug if they were pre-installed in the live-CD: 1) https://launchpad.net/clean-ubiquity : automatic MBR (and partition tables) backup during Ubuntu installation. 2) https://launchpad.net/os-uninstaller : uninstalls any OS in 1 click !
