I've done quite a bit of retesting today, both with that same 30GB
Maxtor drive, and an 80GB WD IDE drive. No idea why but that seems to
only effect the old 30GB drive, so it's definitely a corner issue.

I wouldn't even have bothered reporting this but based on UDS we're in
for a total rebuild of ubiquity --- scary stuff.

If Colin, Evan, or another member of the installer team happens to read
this could you point me to a "blueprint" for the new ubiquity?

Please understand I'm not being pushy, just curious and concerned ;^)
