I've done quite a bit of retesting today, both with that same 30GB Maxtor drive, and an 80GB WD IDE drive. No idea why but that seems to only effect the old 30GB drive, so it's definitely a corner issue.
I wouldn't even have bothered reporting this but based on UDS we're in for a total rebuild of ubiquity --- scary stuff. If Colin, Evan, or another member of the installer team happens to read this could you point me to a "blueprint" for the new ubiquity? Please understand I'm not being pushy, just curious and concerned ;^) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1009333 Title: Entire disc install shows partition will be removed when no partition exists To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1009333/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
