Just another random Ubuntu user here and I agree with Allan. I like DropBox and use it on five devices, but since the update issue above hasn't been sorted out it really doesn't belong in the repos. Keeping broken software in the software center is silly. Let the DropBox company continue handle the burden of advertising the .deb package and updates as they desire. I was surprised to find it in the Software Center in the first place since it isn't open source software.
