Not sure which app process actually is responsible, but both have amd video cards 4350 and 4200 using radeon driver. Both use custom background which is in 'pictures' folder. From reboot, after login to user account it takes up to ~ 20 sec. until Unity is displayed, but never under 15 sec., from cold boot it takes ~ 26 sec. never under 20 sec.. Guest account takes ~15 sec. Nothing obvious happens during the delay, it may take a while until the login screen turns into plain user session background, from there user is waiting patiently until the rest of the desktop is completely displayed and ready to use. - ## There're several fatal IO errors in .xsession-errors, but due to bug - 951597 I'm not sure if it's useful information.
